Art created by applying pigment on a two-dimensional surface with a brush, knife, or hand and/or the
manipulation of digital processes with a computer
Traditional mediums: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, tempera, ink, encaustic, fresco, spray paint, etc.
Digital mediums: Digital painting software and techniques
Requirements:
1. One Entry Per Student: Only one artwork can be submitted per student.
2. Easel Provided: Easels will be provided by the national office at the national competition only. None provided locally.

3. Oral Presentation: Prepare a 3-minute presentation explaining your artistic process, techniques, and inspiration.

4. Q&A Session: Be ready to answer questions from the judges about your artwork.
​
5. Size Limit: Your artwork should be no larger than 26 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 15 pounds in weight including framing.
